Climate Change May Affect the Weather
In many areas, weather is just weather; its hard to make a connection to climate change. But the larger storms (Hurricans & Tornados) may get worse because of climate change. As the weather warms, there is more heat and turbulence in the atmosphere, and more water vapor. Also, the ocean surface is warmer and that can affect storms.
Time will tell but it is very likely that this will get worse, not better. Everyone needs to be more prepared for worsening storms, and these preparations are happening all over the world. It has nothing to do with politics it is just the reality of the world we live in.
One thing is clear: coastal areas are at more risk, as rising sea level makes storm surges worse. This will happen with Hurricanes.
